Bill Henson of Posture Shift and Guiding Families joins Tom, Ryan, and Dean for a special guest discussion on loving LGBT+ people – both inside and outside the Church. How do we better understand LGBT-identifying people or those who experience same-sex attraction (SSA), and how do we love them well?
We learn some of Bill's story from a business background to full-time LGBT+ outreach and ministry as he tells us about LTH, including the origin story (and challenges) of the name. He also shares why he settled on using "LGBT+" in their messaging, as opposed to "LGBTQ+" or any SSA-related terminology.
Tom and Dean jump in with some of their own stories from attending and participating in Posture Shift events. Finally, Bill talks to us about justice initiatives and why justice should be an important issue for the Church.
